    Our Stop Gap Grants can provide you with immediate support to help manage urgent financial needs.

    If you’re facing financial barriers that are holding you back, we’re here to support you. If you work behind the scenes in film, TV or cinema, then you may be eligible to apply for a Stop Gap Grant. Our one-off stop gap grants of up to £750 could help with unexpected costs or allow you to access a career opportunity when lack of financial capital is holding you back.

    The cost-of-living crisis has left lots of industry workers with new financial worries and concerns. But with support, information, and resources specifically for people working in film, TV, or cinema, we can help you find the right financial support, from one-off grants to help you in a crisis, to useful tools like our budget planner and savings calculator.

    If you’re particularly stressed or just not yourself right now, you’re not alone. If you think your mental wellbeing has dipped recently — because of work, things at home, or anything else — you’ve come to the right place. We’re here to support you.

  • Sir Horace Ové Grant | Film & TV Charity

    Launched in honour of film industry trailblazer, Sir Horace Ové, the aim of the grant is to help Black and Global Majority people working behind the scenes in film, TV, and cinema to access opportunity and navigate barriers to career progression. Grants of up to £500 are available and could cover anything from childcare or travel costs to help you access a career opportunity, to courses to support your professional development.

  • The Whole Picture Toolkit | Film & TV Charity

    Create a mentally healthy production for your team with this step-by-step guide. We’re here to help you through each stage of production and everything else including finance, policies and HR.

  • Production Assistant Training | ScreenSkills

    UK-wide program for new entrants to production management. For those interested in unscripted TV production management, from other departments or genres, or after a career break. Also for those from other industries with transferable skills, e.g. admin, travel, theatre, events.

  • Reel Shorts - Bristol | Cables & Cameras

    This is the final screening of the year from Cables & Cameras. A special showcase of short films, including a discussion after the films, hosted by Adam Murray from BBHC.
