Interns’ Perspective: Why Projects & The Kusp partnership works

I am realising that some of the most valuable moments in the creative industry don’t happen behind a screen, they happen in the same room. That’s what makes The Kusp’s partnership with Projects Brighton so impactful.

Through The Kusp Club, members gain access to discounted co-working, curated perks, and, most importantly, a space for intentional connection.

Projects Brighton has already played host to key moments for The Kusp; from the 2025 meet-up to the upcoming 2026 meet-up and showcase, these events were opportunities for creatives to meet, share their work, and build relationships in real time. Conversations that might have started casually have the potential to turn into collaborations, ideas, and future projects. That’s the value of being in the right environment.

For The Kusp, this partnership allows the community to exist beyond digital spaces by creating a consistent place for creatives to connect, exchange ideas, and support one another. Especially with the increasing need of “third spaces” and IRL moments for creative communities to be built. Pursuing a goal within the creative industries can be lonesome, and according to the WHO, loneliness affects 16% of people worldwide, with ripple effects across mental health, wellbeing and social cohesion.

Making safe and inclusive environments for connections evermore important; and Alana Harris - Brand Manager at Projects Brighton - agrees. She states; “We've been proud partners of The Kusp for over a year now, and it's one of those collaborations that just makes sense. In a world where so much of our professional lives plays out online, the value of a real, physical space to connect has never been greater. Projects exists to be exactly that - a third space where people can show up, meet the right people, and do their best work. Seeing The Kusp community bring that to life in our space is something we genuinely love being part of."

For Projects Brighton, this partnerships brings in a network of emerging creatives who contribute to the energy and culture of the space. In addition, “Enhanced Members” of The Kusp Club get access to:

  • £25 off the monthly Residence membership

  • 25% off all meeting room and event space hire

  • 50% off Projects day passes

  • Free trial days at both Projects’ locations

  • Complimentary co-working spaces on any day we host events together at their venue

At its core, The Kusp is about creating opportunities through connection and spaces like Projects Brighton make it possible
